Multi-monitor through Talos-Genesis plugin
This document provides instructions for downloading the Talos Genesis Bridge, which is available as a browser extension for both Chrome and Edge. The extension serves as a bridge to link Talos Event Management with Genesis Video Alarm Management, ensuring that alarms and their corresponding images are synchronized between the two systems on the operator’s screen. The extension operates in the background without requiring any direct user interaction.
For installing the plugin:
Go to Google

Go to chrome/ Edge Settings
Select Extensions from menu

Open Chrome Web Store / Microsoft Edge Store

Search for “talos genesis” to find Talos Genesis Bridge from Chrome / Edge web store

Add the extension to Chrome by clicking on Add to Chrome / Edge button

Make sure that the plugin has been added as an extension
Get into the site by login
Go to Talos Admin
Click on Alarms from Talos Menu

Open Video Viewer in another window

Click on Assign to me from Talos
Select particular event
Selected event will reflect on Video Viewer player.
Open Map in another window and click Enable Multi-Monitor

Selected event’s respective site will be shown in map page
