Unable to Switch Between Users in Partner Login


Issue:

Some partner login users are experiencing difficulties when switching between accounts within the NXGEN platform. After attempting to switch users, the system retains the previous session, preventing a seamless transition.


Cause:

This issue occurs due to session persistence across Talos and Genesis. Logging out from one system does not immediately clear session data from the other, leading to conflicts when switching users.


Workaround:

To successfully switch accounts, follow these steps:

  1. Log out of Talos:
  1. Navigate to the Talos dashboard.
  2. Click on the user profile icon (top-right corner).
  3. Select Log Out and wait for the session to fully terminate.

  1. Log out of Genesis:
  1. Open the Genesis platform.
  2. Click on the user profile icon.
  3. Select Log Out to complete the session termination.

  1. Re-login with the desired user credentials:
  1. Open Genesis again and log in with the new user's credentials.
  2. If necessary, log back into Talos with the corresponding account.


Resolution Status:

Our engineering team is actively investigating a long-term fix to enable seamless user switching without requiring a full logout process. Updates will be provided once a solution is deployed.
